Our host gave us a tour and told us all about the history and how he painstakingly remodeled it while keeping as much of the old personality as possible. The room was beautiful decorated and was sparkling clean. The owner was very nice and spent some time with us even though he was crazy busy. You can tell he works very hard to keep his ratings high- and it works. The bed was just the right firmness and the sheets high-quality cotton. The water was hot, the room was very quiet, and we had a safe place there to park our bicycles. Breakfast in the cafe was included and the food was delicious. By the time we left, the place was packed with locals. You can tell this place is well looked after and loved by many. I wish him great success and would recommend anyone stay here. Very high quality for a low price.

Colours, material, elegant style, wood floor instead of the common dark marble in the area, old-looking but stylish furniture/windows blinds etc, yet very modern bathroom facilities. Spectacular! (Note: I was told the quiet element may be gone when weddings take over the venue).

I loved how much care Adrian and his lovely wife put into this location which is just 15 minutes away on foot from Colon (a main transport connection point for Valencia). Their recommendations really contributed to a better visiting experience too. Their spotlessly clean place has everything a traveler might need: a comfortable bed, an air conditioning system which allows you to set a perfect temperature, a mini-fridge for late night snacks and even some tea & cookies for times of cravings. The breakfast room is accessible from 6-10 everyday and there are just 4-5 tables, but the accommodation venue is small, so it's never crowded. The breakfast items are fresh, delicious and on the sweet side: freshly squeezed orange juice, croissants, cookies, cereal & milk, jam & butter, but there's some yoghurt or melted cheese as well. Their coffee is great! I also arrived late & left very early, so it was easier with the self-check-in & check-out process. I'll definitely book them again whenever I'm in Valencia!
