Situated in San Miguel de Allende, 1 km from Historic Museum of San Miguel de Allende, MESON AMELIA features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. This is without a doubt the best place we've ever stayed! It is pretty close to downtown but without the city noise. The San Miguel Arcangel temple and park is only a 7-9 minute walk, the Mercado de Artesanias is a 5 minute walk. It was our first time in a meson, which was very clean and comfy. The room was amazing, quite, and beautiful decorated, first room I have ever stayed in with a freshener; it might be small for some but it was very convenient for us. The meson is also cheaper than all of the places downtown I checked (and I checked for a lot). Parking (valet parking) and breakfast are included for free. I am from Mexico and I can tell you that Sam's cooking is delicious, so take advantage of that. Also, the staff is the friendliest staff I have ever met. Fernanda and company (sorry, I didn't catch the lady's and the other girl's name at the kitchen and reception) were amazing; they made us feel at home. If you plan to visit San Miguel de Allende, I highly recommend to stay at Meson Amelia, you won't regret it!
