The check in process was quick and the clerk spoke good English. It is within walking distance of Sagrada Familia, the Metro and has several places to eat close by. There is an OpenCor supermaket on the corner and the daily rate is a good value. The clerk was also helpful with maps and information on how to get around, including information about the Hop On Hop Off Tourist Bus.

It may not always be possible to get an early check in because the property is small and an apartment may not be available. Even though I had requested an early check in, I had to wait a couple of hours before I could get into the apartment.

The rooms are so well furnished. Every convineince is provided. And the cleanliness is a deal The sitting room is a model for self service appartments. The modernity of the facilities is its strongest point.

Yes. (1) No International TV Channels. You must speak spanish before you can enjoy TV. (2) The rooms are not warm enough.

Marina apartments are located 150 meters from Gaudi’s masterpiece, Sagrada Familia, were 2 metro lines are crossed. We had a partial view of church’s towers from our balcony. There are a lot of restaurants and supermarkets in the neighbourhood. The complex has 20 apartments, a reception area and a private parking. There is not a restaurant or any other public rooms in the building. Our apartment was marvelous and very clean. It has a big sunny living and dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a big bathroom, two bedrooms and two balconies. The air-conditioning system covers the whole apartment and it was controlled by us.

Me and my wife stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. Wonderful location - only 3 minute walk from Sagrada Familia, 7 minute walk from the local market where one can buy nice jamon, vegetables, bread, cheese etc. Besides the market there are stores around if you decide to buy some groceries or bulangerie if you want to start your day with fresh bread, cake or/and a cup of coffee. If you need an Internet cafe, it's also around the corner. Friendly (and English-speaking) personnel: a person on reception gave us map and like 15-minute tour on what to see in Barcelona and the advice was better than the guide book we had with us :) Great apartment, well-furnished and has almost everything you need to spend wonderful time in a wonderful city!

1. Rooms facing the street seem to be a little noisy, but not terribly. However, if you have choice, try to get one facing inner courtyard. It was not terrible for us though: after walking trips around Montserrat and Figueras we were sleeping like babies :). 2. There is no kettle in the kitchen and soap bar in the bathroom. But hey, for the price, service and location it's not an issue at all. Shampoo was offered though. So, the first problem was solved by boiling water in the cups in microwave and the latter - by spending a euro in a nearest store. Hairdryer was present, but if you had a better one, you'd rather take it, however, you can get buy with one in the apartment too.

The whole apartment hotel was basically new, we were told it was 2 years old. The layout kept noise to a minimum. Super close to Sagrada Familia and metro station, lots of markets in the area.

The hotel is well situated, just 100 meters to Sagrada Familia, metro station, restaurants and grocery stores. The apartment was really big - almost 70m2 and consists of 2 bedroom, bathroom, living room with a large balkony, and well equiped kitchen. There is really very good option for family.

Great location, right by the Sagrida Familia, with nice places to eat and drink nearby.

The power in our room did not work properly and the man at reception didn't care about it at all! Also the 'free' wifi cost 15 euro per day

This site is very conveniently located by the Sagrada Familia Metro Stop, around the corner from several grocery stores and restaurants, and makes a great base for those willing to use the metro to explore Barcelona. The staff were very helpful about area conveniences.

Fantastic apartment with two bedrooms, a big living room, kitchen with all facilities in the centre of the city next to Sagrada Familia. Private parking and internet also available with extra cost.
