Location, cleanliness and value for money

Heating was on full and was very hot in room. Had to sleep with doors of juliet balcony open which then got too cold as it was dec.

The location of the hotel is ideal. The Metro is two blocks away. It is close to the beach, La Ribera, Barri Gotic and many of Barcelona's attractions. The rooms were very modern and attractive.

We were at the hotel in late October in fairly warm weather, however, the hotel turns off the air-conditioning in October and the room was hot at night. Just in front of the building next door street people were sleeping rough which made us feel somewhat uncomfortable.

The hotel had a good central location, and was a decent value for the money. The room was clean and well furnished, although small.

This hotel would be a fine place to stay if the weather was cool, but it was quite warm when we were there, and the air conditioning had been shut off for the year. The noise level was terrible with the window open, and the room was stifling with it closed.

The room was spacious and clean. The location of the hotel was quite good (although not excellent) for city trip purposes.

The terrible smell in the bathroom was so unpleasant that I would not want to stay at this hotel again despite the nice things I liked about this hotel.

Terrific location--borders Bari Gotic and a 5 minute walk to the beach....2 Minutes from marina Air conditioning worked well, rooms were clean and crisp. Good value for the money...neighborhood very safe. Room reasonably well appointed

Front desk staff was ok but less friendly than other hotels I have stayed at in Barcelona...they were not horrible, just a little noticeably less friendly.

Loved our room, we were at the top floor w/ a private balcony, a great view of barcelona. Room is clean, clean, clean!!! Great price.

Hotel breakfast was a bit expensive, it's better to eat out.

The location of this hotel is fantastic! It is situated on a pleasant little square that´s very close to the harbor and the beaches, and only steps from the old city. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and I´d book it again when I return to Barcelona.

Minor details... The hotel staff is a bit cold at reception. TV was horrible, but who goes to Barcelona to watch TV? No coffee/tea facilities in the room.

Ideal location. Easy aceess to seaside, La Rambla, train station.

Great location for exploring the city of Barcelona. Metro station close by. Room clean and tidy.

The hotel location is great - central enough to walk everywhere, but nice and quiet. The room was very clean, and good for recharging batteries at night.

It would have been nice to have a view out the window of something other than a wall. That didn't matter that much to us in the end as we only used the room to sleep between lovely explorations of the city. The shower was also poorly conceived as it floods half the bathroom when it's on.
