Nothing other than the bathroom. The passage of the hotel do not contain carpet so you can hear people walking across your door drawing their luggage. Room insulation is not good so one will woke up in the mid of night when someone is speaking loudly. Room where I stayed is hardly had any ventilation. Room was stuffy,there was no air conditioner so I felt hot, could not sleep at night, woke up in the mid of night after hearing people's talking loudly. Breakfast is same everyday and menu is boring. |

The Moderno was central, clean and well managed. The Hotel staff were friendly and professional. Room was a good size and very well maintained by the hotel staff. A good three star hotel with all the amenities that you would expect especially the coffee and soft drink machines. A well run operation. We were made welcome and where very comfortable. |

The location off Las Ramblas is excellent and the accomodations are good. The hotel was very noisy, inside and outside at all hours. The hotel seemed to convey the noise, not block it. |

It is great to have breakfast included and the location is very convenient for shopping and the metro It is always lovely to have a view and my room did not, it was a bit cell like! |

The location was excelent..just a few step from Las Ramblas.The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly We did think the breakfast could have been better...perhaps the addition of a cereal and some fruit |

The location of the hotel is excellent. The room and bathroom were basic but more than comfortable for a short stay and they were spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The check-in/out was easy and quick and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing, I would highly recommend it to my friends and will definitely reserve the Moderno again for future trips to Barcelona. |

Location was excellent. Staff spoke english, and answered all of our questions. Breakfast was decent. We had two black outs during our stay...just the hotel, not the surrounding block. Although the nights were fairly warm, the air conditioning was turned off in the entire hotel. |

Staff were friendly and helpful, location is excellent. A pity the room was so small for a family room. The room was for three, but was really cramped, no space for clothes and bathroom too small for three people to use. A hotel for one or two nights stay but not longer. Good breakfast and more than enough to eat. Food was constantly being replenished. |

The location is absolutely awesome, the staff is polite, helpful and English speaking. The room was small, but sufficient if you want to explore Barcelona. |

Good location, clean rooms, good breakfest Very close to La Ramba, which is noicy. If you have a room with windows, prepare to have some noice over the whole night. When last night people go to bed, first morning traffic begins. One possibility is to ask for a room without windows (spanish "inside window"). |

Great location. The hotel is near by the Rambla and the Gotic area; everything is at a walking distance. The breakfast was almost a full lunch, coffee, tea, bread, ham, good prosciuto, boiled eggs, fruit..etc etc.. |

Clean modest hotel in a great location in Barcelona. We wanted an inexpensive 1-night stay before leaving on a cruise, and the Moderno met our needs perfectly. |
