First of all, the staff was fantastic! Open and friendly. Spoke good English and had a great tip for a place to eat after a late arrival (Pepino, 20 meters to the right). Rooms were clean and modern. The lounge area was comfortable with free internet, sofa's, free water, fruit and coffee/tea. The display art on screens and walls were a nice addition to the atmosphere! The breakfast area was clean and always well stocked. Breakfast times were terrific, from 8am until 11am(!!). There was a wide selection of food to choose from too.

Our room was on the road side (Nou de la Rambla). Spanish people tend to go out (and be loud) on the streets between 0230am and 0530am. We recommend getting a room on the other side of the hotel. Other than that, no complaints.

Very Noisy inside and outside, House Keeping is really poor, The Stuff is not polite and helpful enough.

The services offered by very friendly staffs. The contemporary design and feel of the hotel. The location.

We liked having coffe, bottled water and apples available as well as internet services without extra charges.

Beds were firmer than we are used to.

No tea/coffee making facilities in the hotel room

Its central location. 'Free' bottles of water and apples available to the guests each day in the lounge. Room was very good with comfortsble beds.

The was basin in the bathroom was very shallow,so it was easy for the water to surge out onto the surrounds and the floor if you were not careful.

the location was excellent and the outside patio area an added bonus in a busy city like Barcelona also the lounge offering tea/coffee and water very much appreciated

the room had no window to the outside world so we had no idea what the weather was like (sunny /raining )

In general, the hotel was more than satisfactory and I would definitely return again. The location was ideal - just off La Ramblas. The interior design had a quiet elegance to it. The patio was also most enjoyable after a day of sightseeing. Water, tea, coffee and fruit were supplied free of charge. It was excellent value.

The room could have used an additional mirror.

The staff were very friendly and helpful .The location was excellent just around the corner from La Rambla and the metro.Tea/coffee and water provided in the lounge area,and access to an outside terrace was very useful after a long day walking around seeing the sights.

The only improvement would be the provision of a full length mirror [or any mirror] in the bedroom itself.The only mirror was in the bathroom which proved a bit difficult when there are two people.

The service from the staff was amazing, very helpful and friendly. The room it self as perfect and even better than i though.

Liked the security provided, the location for sightseeing, the relaxed atmosphere, the tea and coffee facilities, the cleanliness of the rooms, the friendliness of the reception staff and the general decor of the hotel.

Just one thing - no mirror in the bedroom (just a small one in the bathroom)

Speedy check in and out. Location to centre excellent. (Liceu metro 2 minutes walk!) The reception and lounge area modern and very clean with complimentary cold water and espresso machine. The rooms with a view to the street have a very small window, rooms overlooking the courtyard have a larger window.The shower is excellent with large cubicle and modern shower head. Beds firm but comfortable. Onix have two good hotels on/near the Rambla which I would recommend for all travellers to the city.

Wifi does not seem to work if you have a room above the 3rd floor, but reception will oblige with a cable which makes the connection faster.

Also location, the street of the hotel is ruff, esp at night!
