it was a good hotel in general , very good location

the bed wasnt comfortble

the hotel was very clean and the staff are very helpfull even when we wanted to change our room from the front of the hotel which was a bit noisy

The staff was very friendly, check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The room was great in a nice decor and comfortable size. Our window faced a noisy street, but the windows actually kept out the noise. There was a lovely new bathroom. Breakfast was nice.

The bed and sheets need to be changed. We had a double bed made of to single beds pushed together, but lying in the middle was very uncomfortable, it was very hard for some reason. The mattresses felt like the springs were gone. The sheets had rubber coating on the down facing side, very uncomfortable to lie on, we hadn't asked for this, and we could have done a lot better without it.

I liked it because it was the same like I saw in the site bookiing.com. The situation of the hotel is very close to the beach and metro station. So you'll never loose your way to the hotel!

Only one thing. I was choosing the hotel with the open swimming pool and it was in it but did not work. Anfortunatelly it is closed in cold time but no where was told about it.

Excellent location - 5 mins from Las Ramblas and next to a metro stop. Great views from rooftop. Very clean and good size room.

Some of the staff at the check in desk have an attitute problem. Rooftop pool closes at 8 - far too early. Many problems with key for hotel door not opening, not dealt with satisfactorily. "Double bed" is two singles pushed together.

Very friendly, helpful, English speaking staff. A few steps to metro station. Two metro stops to the center of La Ramblas. Wood floor. Clean and spacious private bathroom.

Nice good-size room, metro is just outside the hotel which is very convenient.

Windows are not so good and the street is very noisy; poor selection of TV channels - there was just one in English and one in French with the rest in Spanish and Catalonian.

The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful.

We asked to be moved from a room on the front of the hotel to one on the back. The front looks out directly onto a 6-lane road and is very noisy. We didn't sleep much the first night, but then we were moved to the back, which was much quieter. Also the roof terrace closes at 8pm which is a great pity as it would be lovely to be able to go up there at night to see the city lights.

Localisation

We had a discounted room that correspnded to our budget, but no visibility on outside the hotel, only a window on an internal cour.

Great location in my opinion for singles, couples or family. The hotel staff where very helpful and welcoming. The room was very big and though facing the high street with the windows open the noise was minimal. I will always stay here if I visit Barcelona again. Very close to La Ramblas and city center and metro a stonethrow away. Excellent hotel that added to myself and my girlfriend's memorable visit to Barcelona. Fantastico!!!!

Nothing to fault the hotel!!!! Only wish I could have stayed more days in Barcelona..

- easy access to/from airport (by train/metro) and city center (10 min walk), port, parc montjuic; nice view from the top, nice pool on the top (small, but nice!)
