The location is great walking distance to all the main sites also nice places to go out around hotel and the hotel staff is great i would reccomend this hotel after the renouvation of the road in front is done warning to all travelers there are works on the street in front of the hotel @@@ it is not pleasnt and it is just in front of the breakfast room @@ I would expect a site like booking.com and also the hotel to be fair and to explain this before i make my reservation i was very disapointed @@ |

Quiet and neat to everything The superior room is extremely small, Jacuzzi is not Jacuzzi , the king bed was two bad put together. For the price of superior room I am very disappointed, was not what we expected. Too small, and nothing special. If I know that the room is like this I will not chose it, or I will go in normal room but pay more than 1000 Euro really is not the value of that room |

The staff were terrific and helpful. The room was very modern with many amenities. The location was simply perfect for a quick getaway weekend with easy access to the entire city. The only negative that I had about my stay at the hotel was that the rooms was tiny in the traditional European way -- hardly room to walk around the bed. |

Location was excellent for access to many key sights. Very close to Puerto del Sol and Plaza Mayor with many streets lined with good restaurants and pubs. Even though there was construction on front street, our rooms were sound-proof. The front desk staff were excellent in regard to assisting in bookings and for information. The breakfast buffet was excellent. This was a very good valued hotel in a great location with excellent staff. There was not anything not to like. |

Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent service. Tapas restuarant very good, main restuarant very expensive and food portion large - we did not feel it was value for money. Could do with tea/coffee making facilities in the bedrooms. |

Layout very accommodating for a renovated European hotel. Beautiful bathroom with shower doors, jacuzzi, ample storage and very comfortable beds. The room was quiet and nicely furnished; did not feel modern "chic"; in other words, did not feel cheaply furnished. I wish it was closer to the museums.... |

The location was perfect, the fact that they accommodate our 5 years old daughter with no extra charge, the supplies at the bathroom are more than perfect The constructions and the fixes around the hotel we should be informed about this, the tv channels are almost in spanish prefer if they have many other options |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The free minibar was a pleasant surprise although it consisted mainly of soft drinks and fruit juices. The hotel was also very well located for shopping and entertainment with several nearby metro stations - one was only 20 metres from the hotel. My only gripe was the road works plaguing Madrid at present and in particular the street in front of the hotel. There was some noise in the morning but not too early. However I think that this should be signalled when booking. |

A very good location, close to the old city sites and shopping. There is a close Metro station near buy which is useful for traveling the city. Free internet and free min bar are nice features. This hotel is good value for money. |

Lovely rooms, exactly as pictured. Bed was comfortable and staff was responsive and friendly. They smiled and laughed with us many times as we connected just walking through the lobby and out the entry. The adjoining restaurant is fabulous. The morning and evening staff there made our meals all the more fun and personal. The food was delicious - morning brunch had everything you can imagine, hot and cold, spanning 2 walls of selections. It was our favorite breakfast in Europe. It helped since there are no hot pots for coffee or tea in rooms in Europe. Coffee was one minute away and was delicious. |

A very good hotel however as of Sept 1-4 2009 there was major construction of the street in front of the hotel. A taxi could not even come in front of the hotel. We had to walk 30 meters with our bags to the entrance. Extensive construction of road in front of hotel. Would recommend to call to see if construction is done |
