We liked the location for us...a little away from the hustle and bustle and closer to the nature of the river. The location seems suited to a car but the bus 12 from the Zocodover drops you right at the door. Nice looking out the window at the river gorge.

If you aren't fit then the walk up the hill could be a challenge. But it is through medieval streets so that isn't so bad.

Excellent location- on the perimeter of the city, so you don't have to drive your car on those very narrow winding streets in the city but are still very well situated for walking to virtually any point in the city. No more than 10-15 minutes to the main plaza with all adjacent shops and restaurants. Hotel otherwise quite nice, very clean, breakfast available on site, staff all very professional, helpful.

No complaint but info for future guests: if you like to sleep with the window open, get a courtyard view room not a room with the view of the river. There's a busy street that parallels the river and buses and people traverse the street til the wee hours of the morning. Not to mention the early morning trash and delivery truck wake-up call.

The staff were very helpful and attentive. We used the underground carpark for 12E / night. The hotel is looking over the river and an easy uphill 15 min walk into the centre of Toledo (which is a lovely place to visit - highly recommended), or if you want a bus it leaves every half-hour from right outside the hotel. Excellent continental breakfast.

It needed tea and coffee making facilies in each room. An English speaking channel on the TV would have been good. Staff were excellent

Very helpful staff. Garage available (expensive) but the receptionist came out onto the street and sowed us where to park for free. Easily accessible but convenient location.

The Hotel was very nice the staff lovely breakfast very good as long as you do not want full english bed nice bath room very small really enjoyed our stay The only thing I would say you have to be very fit to walk in to town but it is worth it when i say when you get there very steep walk.

within town boundaries, only a few minutes walk from the main sights.

Good, quiet location, with if you are lucky as we were, there was parking available on the street opposite. A 5 minute walk to the city centre, although all up hill. Great views of the river and the gorge.

No free internet access. Breakfast was a little disappointing, as there was no bananas, although there was other fresh fruit.

Fabulous location, easy to drive to and find. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Has a lovely cosy feel to this hotel. Good breakfast.

Pleasant and helpful staff; quiet, clean and comfortable room although bathroom was rather cramped. Good value breakfast. Free internet access. Situated at the outer edge of the old town but the price reflects this. Secure and reasonably priced on site garage parking. More channels on the tv than you can shake a stick at but surprisingly no Sky News, only BBC World.

The staff were very pleasant and polite, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the breakfast had a large selection and was of a good standard. The location of the hotel was perfect.

The hotel is very close to downtown Toledo. It has its own underground garage and serves a good breakfast.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was extremely comfortable, even luxurious, and within easy walking distance up a hill to the centre of Toledo. On the way there is a variety of interesting shops from which you can buy great food for lunch and there is lots of interesting Spanish architecture to see on the way. I would definitely want to stay in this hotel again.
