The beautiful and historic old part of the city is just a short walk away. The traditional cobbled streets and old fishermen’s cottages illustrate Vigo’s history as a fishing port. The Mercado de La Piedra (the Market of the Stone) is situated in the city’s old quarter. This popular market is a great place for picking up souvenirs or for sampling the region’s famous traditional cuisine.
The fishing port of Berbés is one of the largest fishing ports in Europe and leads the world in terms of fishing for human consumption.
Estación Marítima (the harbour station) has a regular boat service to the nature reserves of Cíes Islands. Some of the biggest and most luxurious cruise ships also dock here.
Calle del Príncipe is the commercial and cultural centre of Vigo and there are many shops and designer boutiques along the street. There are also many museums nearby.
El Castro is a large park near the centre of Vigo. The park contains the remnants of the city’s old fortifications and you can enjoy beautiful views of the town. The park also has a monument to the galleons sunk during the Battle of Rande in 1702. The monument features the recovered anchors of several of the ships that sank during the battle.
Vigo also has numerous beaches along its coastline. The city of Bayonne is just 22 km away, Santiago de Compostela is a little less than 100 km away and Portugal is only 35 km away.

The hotel is very good value for money, providing a sound service (clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff) and good facilities for the cost. The location is excellent, being central to Vigo and near to seafront and old town restaurants, but the location is not too noisy or busy. Inclusive continental breakfast in the attached cafe is fine. |

Good price. Friendly and service minded staff. Good location if one wishes to take a walk and see the sea and the leisure boats or have something to eat or dring by the sea. Nice cafeteria with good service, where they serve your breakfast. Free Internet service. Parking in robot managed parking house 50 m away - paid but secure. |

This was a very clean and tastefuly decorated hotel in a good location. The quality of the furnishings and fittings was high and the room was larger than I'd expect for the price. I can strongly recommend this hotel! The breakfast was quite limited and probably should be improved. |

La calidad de la habitación y el baño. Parecia un 4 estrellas. Estaba fenomenal, lo único que no había desayuno incluido. Pero hay cafeterias al lado donde se desayuna de maravilla. |
