The location is very rural - it was a cloudy night, but I think you could stargaze for hours here... There's loads of outdoors space, chairs and picknick places placed throughout. An orchard, a vineyard, an indoor pool... Our hosts were friendly and ready to help. The breakfast was served in the barn, a lovely spacious room, fire going in the fireplace. The spread was very varied, fruits, yoghurt, cheeses, meat and tiny croissants. There was a nice fire going in the woodstove, so our room was nice and toasty upon arrival.

Breakfasts were excellent with fresh and homemade selections and encouragement from our host to take extra for lunch / sandwiches. Perfect for motorcycle touring, located in a rural location, very peaceful and only 20 mins ride into Ypres. A very good base; comfortable en-suite rooms and a large courtyard with spacious barn for motorcycles overnight.

Beautiful farm house with lovely interiors and garden, with very friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely little dog called Nixon. Great fresh breakfast with homemade apple juice and fresh fruit, and eggs from the hosts’s hens who roam free in the garden.

To be greeted by name by David, along with home made apple pie and coffee after a long journey, says it all about this property. They accomodated all our room requests. The breakfast was excellent, continental in style with local and home made products. It was so plentiful and I liked the touch of providing clingfilm so extras could be taken as snacks during the day. The accomodation was very good. Don't expect (or want) five star Ritz, it's a working farm with rustic charm that provides excellent value for money.

The hotel was lovely a converted barn in the middle of farmland with some good eateries within 2 kilometers. Great heated pool outside, and free parking.
