Lovely farmhouse with a stunning breakfast and very friendly couple who run this rural guesthouse. Rooms really big and nice view of the animals from window.
We were a party of nine people aged from four to eighty-eight, and looked forward to spending Christmas together. In the farmhouse and barn we had perfect accommodation, brilliantly equipped, and with a lovely Christmas tree provided. Gesail is in a remote rural location, in beautiful scenery which looked atmospheric in all weather. The sheep were curious and friendly! It was as magical as we had hoped.
The house was a rustic, traditional, North-Walian farmhouse in a superb location. It felt rural and peaceful yet it was only a 5 minute drive from facilities in Bala. A great base for sight-seeing in Gwynedd. We would definitely return.
Owners were really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great. Room was spaceous and comfortable .. if a little rustic. (But not surprising in an old, traditional farmhouse!) Location is fantastic and the welcome is warm and genuine. Would definitely stay again.
Fantastic location, absolutely stunning views and perfect for a peaceful get away. Loved the rustic and vintage vibes of the farm house, privacy around the home and seclusion. Great for large groups and families, kitchen is very well equipped and extra fridge freezer also available. Richard is usually around for anything extra you may need and helpful. Perfect location near town centre, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Canal, horseshoe falls, castell dinas & river Dee
Rustic farmhouse building adjacent to the owner in the hills between Denbigh and Mold, peaceful location, well stocked good size kitchen, small living room, large upstairs bedroom/bathroom, good wifi, excellent welcome pack of drinks and local food, charming owner and plenty of useful local information.
Excellent rural location, authentic farmhouse A comfortable stay with lovely breakfast and friendly hosts.
Lovely location and surroundings. The barn had what we needed for our stay and is very rustic. The owner is superb with communication and provided lots of information about the local area. Also supplied wood etc. for the fire. The pool wasn’t open at this time of year but that would be a fabulous bonus in the summer months. Lots of good walks and peace and quiet. Close to major towns like Oswestry and Wrexham if needed but still very rural, which is what we like.
