Everything about it is splendid. The rooms are really well equipped with things you expect and a few more besides. The decor is top class, a real feeling of luxury. In fact the whole hotel is like staying in a stately manor! And being right on the High Street the location is fantastic

Staff very considerate and helpful, food was well-cooked (thank you to the chefs) with lots of choice, very prompt service and reasonably priced. Meeting room was excellent as was the service from staff and the room facilities when I was in a meeting there.

A lovely beer garden outside and a warm cosy open fire on the inside. The evening dinner was excellent. Staff are very open and engaging. Plenty of parking space. The room was lovely and incorporated everything you require.

Of particular note was the professionalism of the lady in charge of breakfast whose attention was on a par with a five star hotel.
