The location is right in the middle of the town, with plenty of places to eat/drink nearby. Some lovely countryside walks nearby. The cottage inside is beautiful and has a very high standard of fixtures and fittings (the kitchen is better than my own !!) I wanted to put up some photos of the inside, but booking.com won't go back through my gallery far enough.

The room is perfect. Exactly what you need to rest for the night. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was very well presented with a fabulous shower and quality towels. The fridge, cafetiere and milk,/tea/coffee/biscuits were very well appreciated. The location is perfect for getting out and about during the day. There are a number of pubs and restaurants in the immediate area for food and drinks plus a supermarket less than 1 min walk away. We loved this place and feel it is excellent value.

A charming, very well equipped cottage with everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The hosts were lovely, on hand if we needed them (we didn't), but very discreet. A very comfortable bed. Linen and towels provided were of high quality. Quiet location with stunning views.

Everything. My room was immaculate and beautifully furnished. It looked fresh and modern and the bathroom looked brand new. The tea and coffee making facilities were excellent (fresh coffee and a fridge with milk and bottled water provided). The bed was very comfortable and all the bedding was stylish and good quality. I didn’t hear a sound overnight. Close by to pubs and several eating options and cross-crossed by cycle routes 68 and 72. I really enjoyed my stay.

Great location in the centre of Haltwhistle, really nice pubs, cafes and shops to hand. The room was outstanding. Very comfy bed, modern bathroom and the little details really set the accommodation a notch above what you usually get - a mini fridge with fresh milk provided, filter coffee and cafetiere, really sumptuous thick bath towels. The self check in process was well explained and straightforward. We didn't meet the owners but there was plenty of written and emailed communication that made us feel like very welcome guests.
