Another fantastic Parador, previously a military barracks, now a fabulous, well appointed luxury hotel. Situated in the heart of La Granja, there are numerous bars & restaurants to choose from immediately on your doorstep. There are no parking facilities at the hotel, but there is a large public car park to the rear (just ask for directions from the staff at reception). There is a gym, sauna, indoor & outdoor pools, but they all have restricted opening times, which is a shame, still, I've never been disappointed with a stay at a Parador.

Maria is friendly and provided us information about the hotel! There’s bookshelves at the staircase (only Spanish, would be great if they add English books in future). The rooms are equipped with kitchen utensils (may b additional of hand towel in kitchen will be add point, to dry hand after wash at kitchen). The location is perfect too!

The Internet worked very well. I highly recommend it. I will return next time I visit La Granja de San Ildefonso, a lovely small town with a beautiful Royal palace and gardens.

Staff was lovely and very accommodating. Restaurant is excellent and location is ideal. Tastefully decorated as well. Bathrooms are basic but functional and clean. Great value for money.
