Reception was very helpful; I indeed got the transit pass as promised in other reviews, which was very helpful. Breakfast was delicious - coffee on the table upon arrival. Lots of unique outdoor spaces to relax in. I liked that there were bottled refreshments (including beer/wine) available for purchase on the honor system. Location was pretty and quiet.

Very nice, cozy and clean acommodation. Our daughter loved a little furry monster on the bad with gummy bears in it. That was very nice and sweet touch. Breakfast was amazing so was the lady who looked after us. Very helpfull with smile:-)

The location is close to the fairy and bus station. 10 minutes walking away from the lift and tram station. The room was super clean. The breakfast is satisfying with a variety of nutritions. The terrace has a great view. The responsible lady was super nice. We got guest tickets that provide offers in the fairy, thermal bath, and the lift.

We loved it. It was comfortable, had character, and suited all our needs. The room and balcony were large, and the bathroom was plenty big enough. the bed was very comfortable. The best part was the staff, who were extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive.

central to the town great for coming from the Malerweg trail. I had a great experience start to finish. Robin, the owner is amazing and I couldn’t of asked for more, fun to chat to, and great for myself as an English speaker, struggling with the German language. very few other places here speak good English. Bedroom- beds were very comfy, great view of the mountains from my window. each bedroom has 2 single beds available and all rooms come with a key so you can explore the town easily. bathroom- There is a bath + shower in this hotel, in a shared bathroom which is great for all needing to relax after lots of steps down to Schmilka from Malerweg kitchen / breakfast- The kitchen is available to use on the evening for making your own food and socialising with other guests. In the morning, breakfast is set up beautifully on the table for all guests to sit around between 8am and 10am. The breakfast food was amazing lots of options available. Schmilka is a self reliant town as much as possible and make their own produce. it is a very different and fun experience! Enjoy!

Such a lovely place. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Lovely small garden to relax in after long hikes in the area. Easy access to public transport right outside the house. Some hiking trails begins right next to the house. The staff will help you plan your trips/hikes. Easy parking away from the street.

I've stayed in a budget double room just for a night to visit a concert in the area. Clean room, safe area, friendly host. Keep in mind that a bathroom for this specific room is in the opposite building, which is ok during summer. Beautiful garden and surrounded views of Elbe river. Less than 10min walk from the train station

The room was very modest, just as nice as I’d expected from the reviews and advertising. So, honest and transparent. If you want to go hiking it’s easy to get around from here! and also minutes away from restaurants and spas when you get back. It was very clean and the hospitality was fantastic! I would definitely recommend. They even asked if we had any allergies regarding serving us breakfast, and I told them one of us is allergic to to gluten. They provided gluten bread for the breakfast. thank you!
