Prettier than the pictures. We kept waiting to run into Julie Andrews😎 Staff was so friendly. Place was meticulous. Very quiet and simply felt special. Convenient to towns on either side of mountain. Stay here…you will love it.

It's very well run, charming, relaxing, cosy and quiet. Our room was spacious with a big bathroom. Amazing views. Communal facilities are great: large, comfortable sitting room with a massive picture window onto the mountains. You don't feel crammed in with other guests. Lovely log fire. Also appreciated the sauna.

There are a few restaurants nearby (don't go to the Greek restaurant across the street from the hotel. It is horrible). Hotel breakfast was formidable with a host who showed passion and pride in what he was doing.
