The place is just beautiful and so well thought. It is like a big home for a bunch of friends but with different areas so that you can still get your quiet moments when needed. Just 30 minutes walk from Morzine or a few minutes by car. Would love to get back in winter as well.

Beautiful room with nice and friendly host (and a charming cat!). I enjoy the breakfast time chatting with the host and he gave me some advise for the hiking with perfect view! I would like to come back again.

The food quality for both dinner and breakfast is exceptional. They use high-quality ingredients and prepare everything with genuine passion. The chef's skill is outstanding. Additionally, they offer a nice variety of wines. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-designed, with thoughtful touches like star-lit roof lighting that my son particularly enjoyed.

Location suited really well- just a 7 km drive from the property to Morzine where we've been skiing and the price was 3 times cheaper than any other accomodation in a ski resort. Totally worthing the money. Very nice breakfast and living room always available for eating, for a chat or relaxing. The host is extremely nice and full of like. They realise we are all coming from different countries and different cultures. They really know what tourism means and interested in meeting new people. I found everything very nice, I heard in France usually people care mostly about the money they earn, but here is not the case. We felt very welcomed and supported all the time we stayed there. We stayed at Kern in Seytroux to get away from the busier ski towns around the Porte du Soleil. We were away for just 2 days of skiing and were looking for one night accommodation. Kern was the perfect choice! The town is super quiet, the rumble of the river by our window put us soundly to sleep. The room was lovely. The bonus was dinner at the restaurant. We eat out a lot and our 5 course meal was superb and beats out our favorite restaurants. The staff are very accommodating and were able to ensure we had our breakfast earlier than normal for us to get back out to the ski hill. We would return to enjoy the area more and do some hiking - another stay and chance to eat at Kern would definitely be part of the plan! We arrived in the evening and left early in the day so didn't get a chance to enjoy the beautiful country-side.
