“Great location, quiet street, Lady Milner Room beautifully decorated, bathroom small but efficient, helpful staff”
“This is a great hotel. Beautiful modern rooms with a cozy feel. Brilliant bathroom with bath and shower. Amazing view og the park in front. And very quiet, although the hotel is just a 10 minute walk away from Victoria. A few minutes walk away is the Thames as well. I am definately coming back. It is the first hotel visit I have had where i have absolutely nothing to put my finger on (well, apart from pricy breakfast at around 12 to 18 pounds), so we had lovely breakfasts at cafes etc, which is much better anyway - for the experience). So all in all a perfect stay and hotel I would say :-)”
“Really friendly staff, clean. Great value.”
“Doesn't have a hotel atmosphere but service is there when you need it. Very quiet and great breakfast.”
“Loved the hotel it was perfect for my stay in London. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again in the future.”
“I think what I loved most about this place was that amazing sense of "home from home" - you are given a key to your room and a key to the front door so you can come and go to your heart's content without all that hassle of handing in/asking for keys. Polite and efficient staff are available whenever you want (in an office just off the breakfast room) but when you walk into the lovely hallway, there is no reception area - you just go up the stairs to your room as though you were in your own home. I was a bit dubious at first about sharing bathroom facilities but on each floor there is an area containing two toilets and two showers (absolutely spotless) and there is a hand basin in each room, so it worked out just fine. My room (single) was quite small but it had everything I needed including tea-making facilities,TV, a small desk and chair and even a hair dryer. The breakfast room is bright and cheerful and the breakfast itself (full English breakfast) was plentiful with a good choice of juices and cereals. It's a stone's throw away from Russel Square underground (Piccadilly Line but you can change at Green Park for other lines),and it's roughly equal distance ( about 10 mins on foot) from both Euston and King's cross main railway stations. There are plenty of eating places in the direct vicinity (to satisfy everyone's budget) and there is a variety of "every day" shops too, including a hairdresser's in the nearby shopping arcade. It is situated in such a way that you are in a busy area of London ( Euston road, only 5 mins walk, is a major thoroughfare) yet you have the sensation of being a long way from the hustle and bustle of the city because the hotel is on a crescent, off the beaten track, overlooking a tennis court in Cartwright gardens ( which,if I'm honest, could do with a bit of attention from the borough council, but nevertheless the greenery gives you that country feeling).”
“Milosz was magnificent, going out of his way to be hugely hospitable!”
“Excellent location (2 blocks from Paddington Station). Helpful & courteous staff. Good complimentary breakfast. Clean, safe, quiet. Strong wi-fi. Would definitely return, and recommend to others.”
“Clean and tidy, very nice place .”
“Price, Staff, Location, Facilities”
“The location was fantastic for visiting the nearby museums & Kensington Palace with easy access to tube. Despite being on a busy road there was no disruptive noise. Rooms were clean & comfortable with excellent bathroom. We were very happy with our stay and would defininetly return to the Cromwell Crown. Highly recommended.”
“St.George Hotel is a very, very English hotel, in the heart of London.Excellent location, 5 min to Hyde Park, 10 min. to Oxford Street, 2 min. to train and underground in Paddington Station, 1 min, to St. Mary Hospital where Kate Middleton Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to Prince George .Beautiful and large garden outside hotel, where you can relax. There are a lots of restaurants, coffee shops, English pubs , shops around .The room was perfect for us,specious, very clean with little fridge in the room, also there are a lots of coffee/tea/sugar/milk power and hot chocolate facilities in the room, they also have a big fridge outside, where you can buy cold drinks, snacks and fresh milk.Good size bathroom with soaps, shampoo and fresh towels.Wi-Fi was available in the room.Hotel is familly friendly.Very nice and friendly staff:Peter,Anna and George. We have a very pleasant stay.”
“Friendly staff. Nice rooms, clean and comfortable”
“perfect stay, the staff were awesome and the location was excellent. Free tea and coffee all day and excellent English breakfast every morning. I would certainly go back.”
“We normally go for big hotels but this was in a great position for the o2. We are so glad we chose The Pilot Inn. It is a fabulous pub, we were given such a warm welcome. The room was beautiful and very clean. We opted to eat at the pub, the food was great as was the service. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place, And we found no faults at all. We would definitely stay again.”
