“Bed comfort, air conditioning, staff, location, newly renovated.”
“Good value for money. Clean and very close from the bus stop.”
“I must have stayed here 30 to 40 times and it's not the best hotel ... It better then that it great!! Place to stay. Ok the singles rooms are not big but just right. Also There let your check in early 11am some times if the room are ready Unlike some that make you wait to 3pm. Enjoye”
“Everything.....a wonderful peaceful little haven just a few minutes away from the bustling centre of London!”
“Staff,presentation,location and clean.Very helpful”
“Love the street it's on . Hotel up to date apart from the wardrobe. Too small. 2 and a half foot long is not long enough for anyone. Will go back. X”
“I think what I loved most about this place was that amazing sense of "home from home" - you are given a key to your room and a key to the front door so you can come and go to your heart's content without all that hassle of handing in/asking for keys. Polite and efficient staff are available whenever you want (in an office just off the breakfast room) but when you walk into the lovely hallway, there is no reception area - you just go up the stairs to your room as though you were in your own home. I was a bit dubious at first about sharing bathroom facilities but on each floor there is an area containing two toilets and two showers (absolutely spotless) and there is a hand basin in each room, so it worked out just fine. My room (single) was quite small but it had everything I needed including tea-making facilities,TV, a small desk and chair and even a hair dryer. The breakfast room is bright and cheerful and the breakfast itself (full English breakfast) was plentiful with a good choice of juices and cereals. It's a stone's throw away from Russel Square underground (Piccadilly Line but you can change at Green Park for other lines),and it's roughly equal distance ( about 10 mins on foot) from both Euston and King's cross main railway stations. There are plenty of eating places in the direct vicinity (to satisfy everyone's budget) and there is a variety of "every day" shops too, including a hairdresser's in the nearby shopping arcade. It is situated in such a way that you are in a busy area of London ( Euston road, only 5 mins walk, is a major thoroughfare) yet you have the sensation of being a long way from the hustle and bustle of the city because the hotel is on a crescent, off the beaten track, overlooking a tennis court in Cartwright gardens ( which,if I'm honest, could do with a bit of attention from the borough council, but nevertheless the greenery gives you that country feeling).”
“The best-kept 18trh Century building I've ever visited”
“have visited London many times since leaving(was born and raised there). Stayed at many good hotels but do not remember them leaving such a good impression as The Darlington made.”
“Recent refurbishment has made this avery pleasant place to stay. Good choice of British or Continental breakfast. Good Wi-Fi reception throughout the hotel.”
“BEST PLACE TO STAY NEARBY CONNECTIVITY WITH TUBES.”
“Super friendly staff, fresh new bathrooms and showers, great location.”
“The hotel was very nice and we had a lovely stay there. It was good value for money as we booked using Booking.com. The staff were professional and pleasant to deal with.”
“IS A VERY SMALL ROOM WITH A SMALL BATHROOM, BUT IT IS FOR WHAT YOU PAY. VERY GOOD LOCATION, BUS, SUBWAY, AND TRAIN AROUND THE CORNER, STAFF VERY HELPFUL. RESTAURANTS AND FAST FOODS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD.”
“A perfect place, convenient location, 20 min to London City Airport, friendly staff, excellent design.”
