Very handy location for arriving from the C2C route. Emma and Mark couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Emma booked a restaurant for us and shared loads of useful local information. Good variety on offer for breakfast. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Good selection for tea/coffee making. Very comfortable room.

Paul and Fiona are amazing hosts, very accommodating, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, a short stroll to many restaurants, bakery, town halls, and supermarkets. The breakfast was great. They even had oat milk, which I was extremely grateful for. A pint of their local beer in their beer garden is a must do! This is a wonderful little place run by a wonderful family. As a party of 4, this is our favourite on our Coast to Coast journey to date. Next time, we'll stay a few more nights. Thanks, Fiona and Paul. You guys are truly in the right business. Thanks for being so lovely.

The location was fantastic. I booked for a wedding and stayed the night before and night of the wedding. It’s a small village with a nice pub down the road. I had a problem with the lock on the door and although the owners were not at the property they were there very soon after I contacted them with the problem and this was sorted straight away. Friends had also booked to stay the night of the wedding and although the room/check in time was much later than needed there was no issue for the staff in having the room ready for the early arrival. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely community Inn, felt welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Good atmosphere, with lovely food. Had an event to attend in Catterick so wasn't too far to travel. Situated in a peaceful village.

Tea & coffee making facilities with mini fridge with fresh milk. Seperate seating area. Good shower. Great location 5min walk downhill to the centre of Richmond. Breakfast is served in the private seating area adjacent to your room. Bring your slippers as a no shoes policy however new slippers provided at the entrance. Free fast WiFi. Would definitely stay again.

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful countryside all around. The room was lovely and spacious and the bathroom was the same. Shirley and Nigel were perfect hosts nothing was too much trouble. We had the most loveliest honeymoon. Thank you Shirley and Nigel. We came as strangers and left as friends. xx
