The peace and quiet, and the hospitality - superb. Plus, one can take a short, charming walk across country up into the village to The Crown pub and restaurant, which has a great menu (takes about 15 mins).

The farmhouse was full of character and Ken the host was charming, attentive and provided information on local places of interest. Such a rare treat to be offered complimentary afternoon tea with home made cake - divine. Breakfast was a rare treat with homemade yoghurt and jams. Excellent food presentation by the chef too. A lovely experience that will hopefully be repeated.
