The staff running this hotel are some of the nicest people I've met in Japan. Everything was super clean and comfortable. I'd stay here again if I was in Kyoto in the future.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful and kind to our children; they made the stay feel like a family visit. We loved the big room with comfy beds and a tatami breakfast area. We also liked the onsen-style private bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and different every day. The location was in a small quiet street close to the bus- and train station, and for the people with more stamina even within walking distance of the old town and central shopping areas.

The place was very well organized based on guest needs. They communicated the check in details very carefully that even when we arrived very late, we didn't have any issue getting into to our room. The place was also very clean.

Very nice overall 1. Location In good neighborhood with many restaurant options, as well as within walking distance of Kyoto Imperial Palace. 2. Bath Superb drainage. Dry within seconds. 3. Clean 4. Staff willing to help but not overbearing.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the owner. I booked a bed in a female dormitory, but during check in the owner said that he would like to give me a free upgrade. I was given a private room with a bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, there was a tatami on the floor and I could relax every day with a cup of tea on my own. Although the hotel isn't located in the city centre, you can reach most places by either walking or taking a bus. The bus stop is right next to the hotel door. On the other hand, it's very close to the Philosopher's Path.

Gallery Nozawa Inn offers accommodations in Kyoto, 25 minutes on foot from JR Kyoto Station. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Every room includes a flat-screen TV and air conditioning.

The place is very peaceful and it gives us the feeling of the old and classic style of Japan. It is also very close to a train station which makes our transportation very convenient. The food is excellent and freshly served. Services are also excellent and the owners are very kind to us. The last thing is we are very pleased of the owner driving us to a station on the day of checking out.

Gionkoh is located in Kyoto, 2625 feet from Kiyomizu-dera Temple and 0.7 mi from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. There is a shared kitchen and courtyard at the property.

Hiro who runs this property is lovely. We had such a great time here. The property is in Gion just minutes walk from all the places you want to see in Kyoto. We stay 3 days and it was the perfect place. I really can’t recommend this property enough. We loved it.

Yosuke was the most amazing host you could ask for! He really cared for our little infant and made us feel at home. He went above and beyond by placing fully stocked kitchen, clear instructions, plenty of information on Kyoto, and an amazing atmosphere. He would answer all our questions the best that he could or look it up. We would love to return if the opportunity arises.
