clean and the bed and pillows are soft. it was really cold in Guanajuato, the host gave me extra blankets. i had a very good sleep :)

I love that this hotel is in a neighborhood just uphill from Plaza Baratillo. Paulina is a lovely person and a fabulous hostess. Casa Azul is a rambling old house with loads of character, and lots of stairs. I'd begin each day on the roof terrace with coffee, listening to the roosters and church bells, and enjoying the incredible views over the city!

We really loved our stay at las Alamedas! The room and bathroom are just like in the pictures, nicely decorated and with literally everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was like heaven, really comfy! You have more than enough place as the room and the bathroom are quite large. The room was cleaned every day, so everything was extremely clean, smelled well and was very well treated. The location of las Almedas is perfect, just a few footsteps away from the beautiful historical city center of Guanajuato. We also felt very save there. The arrival was greatly organized and Luis welcomed us very friendly. For the price you pay this is a great deal!!!

Tastfully decorated, suites and garden. It's a good distance from the historic centre, offering a reprieve from the hustle and heat of the city. Best equipped hotel kitchen I've ever had. I would definitely return.

Carmelita was very warm and accommodating. The breakfasts were delicious and fresh. The accommodation is an easy and safe walk into the centre of Guanajuato.

it was really cosy, beautiful space and very friendly helpful attentive owners. Great communication before even arriving. The room was hygienic and cleaned exceptional everyday with attention to detail. Free refillable water for guests in lobby was a huge bonus. location was out of centro though we loved the area and kept extending our stay. A short (but steep) scenic hilly walk to a lovely area with cafes near a river. we have a baby and using the pram and carrier still worked. it was good excercise :p Beautiful hotel amongst nature. play area for kids is a plus too!
