Beautiful old stone building. Former convent, still has a little chapel. Huge room with vaulted wood ceiling. Comfortable bed. Wonderful breakfast with staff that did everything to make us welcome and satisfied.

Nice roads and Braganca is close enough with the car to get groceries from the supermarket. Very quiet, and the few people in the village are very open and friendly. I definitely recommend to spend more than two days. We liked be surrounding by the nature and the quietness. Also, having the hosts around and available to explain us some of the routes was really nice! and that makes a big difference! Not to mention, the breakfast! the yogurt, the bread, butter and the marmalade were delicious and although we had some stuff, was very handy!! and the tea of course! I definitely recommend it!

It is in a very quiet village and that is exactly what we were looking for, a place to enjoy a restful weekend but close enough to the town. There was coffee and tea available all day, the room was comfortable, the interior of the house (a remodeled stone house) is incredibly charming and beautiful. Slow season now so I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a room to myself. Big kitchen, various chill out areas, fast wifi and very clean. It was so comfortable I stayed a few more days! But even without the room upgrade; the hospitality of the host and the relaxing factor of the whole environment; I will definitely stay at this place if I visit Bragança again. 100% recommend!

Well maintained property and facilities. We arrived soaked after a long motorcycle ride. The staff let us leave out clothes in a warm place to dry overnight as there was no space in the cabin. The cabin was very well insulated and warm - we had to switch the heater off ! Food was nice - especially considering we were the lasts guests of the season.

It is 9 minutes walk to the castle and 10 minutes to the town of Bragança. WiFi was free and excellent. There is an immaculate kitchen to prepare and cook food. Parking is quite difficult but I managed to find free parking near the castle. I shall definitely stay here again next January on my way to Porto from Santander.
