Absolutely beautiful place in the heart of nature near Tavira. Beautiful property, room was clean and comfortable. The smell of orange flowers was everywhere in the air and the hosts were lovely and accommodating. We particularly enjoyed making friends with the two great dogs and exploring the area with the dogs. Tavira House is an elegant, European style hotel. Centrally located in old part of Tavira on south bank of the river. Excellent breakfasts. The host, Filomena Diaz, made our stay special. She and her helper, also named Filomena, are perfectly attuned to their guests needs and wishes, helpful in every way. We became good friends with other guests we met there, and look forward to returning. We had a rental car and found Tavira House to be a wonderful base of operations for our five days exploring Tavira and the rest of the Algarve.
