The checkin was very well organized. Nanette left us a lovely message with the info where to find the key. Bears Place is a very well located and clean guest house. Our room was very large with a spacious terrace. There is a small kitchenette in the room with everything you need for a simple menu. All utensils were very clean and in good condition. There is even a laundry room where you can wash and dry your clothes for 5.- USD per wash. Everything has been thought of. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend it. A lovely traditional Hawaiian house in the hills above Kona. Inside was spacious and very comfortable. It had all the facilities we needed inside, including fridge, microwave and mini oven. We also had access to a shared kitchen with more facilities like a cooker. The hoss were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. Every morning there was a fresh pot of coffee ready to start the day. The property takes about 7 minutes to Walmart, 10 minutes to Kona and has numerous beaches within 30 minutes that were stunning. The property had good parking that linked to a main transit route. We would stay here again no problem.
