Set on a peaceful 107 acres in Ellendale, Sassafras Springs offers an outdoor dining area with BBQ facilities and a children's playground. Extremely good service and very nice staff. Well equipped cottage in a beautiful area with an enormous view. Even for colder nights enough facilities to get it warm in the cottage. We also enjoyed the more than one hour long onsite walks.

Very communicative and willing to go that extra mile to make your stay pleasurable and "like home". I was so impressed I extended my stay for another 5 nights rather than relo to Hobart as I had originally planned. Don't skip the homemade hot breakfast (eggs are straight from the hens in the garden out back and they are wonderful...so different from store bought US grocery eggs) and there is a Continental option as well. Very clean, very comfortable beds and luxury bedding. Overall an excellent choice for a stay that will not dissapoint,
