Casa Veneto is very beautiful and the owner, Romario, went above and beyond to make sure we were all well taken care of. The charcuterie board was amazing, and the breakfast was very unique (individual and full picnic baskets for each couple, complete with jams, honey, breads, cake, and coffee). The grape juice was also excellent. The rooms were comfortable with A/C, hot showers, and really good smelling winery-style shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

The location was great - close enough to walk to the city centre, but quiet. The breakfast was exceptional. The staff were helpful and polite. The room was clean. The pousada is very cozy and charming.

There is a nice long walkway by the river bank that extends all the way to the end of the waterbreak (molhes).
