I chose the breakfast drop off and it was so lovely waking up and having a nice light euro breakfast on my door! also train station to get to Bern is 500m away so very nice place to stay if you do not have car or bike. loved the HUGE closet and shower! also the hair dryer was very nice. all the small details were so wonderful. even had a tan for the warm July weather!

Situated in the scenic village of Stechelberg in the Bernese Oberland, The Alpenhof is a simple mountain house with basic facilities and offers budget accommodation, free private parking and a 'pause'... We absolutely loved the Alpemhof Mountain House!! We will forever cherish the memories we made in this beautiful location! We took the bus every day to Lauterbrunnen. We felt that it was super easy to get around, even if it's outside the larger town. Every night upon our return, we were so greatful to experience the peace of this place! I felt like we were in a Harry Potter movie half of the time. :) The host is also very welcoming and kind! We hope to be back one day!

The Alpenblick hotel is a typical, quiet and small Swiss Chalet hotel in Mürren, offering superb views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. Super host, Jannett was very friendly and helpful, and accommodated special request, great location if anyone is looking for a quick place.

Featuring free bikes and views of garden, artroom is a recently renovated guest house located in Bern, 700 metres from Bärengraben. This was honestly a hidden gem! It was absolutely spotless, extremely comfortable, and had everything you need. The host also provides a fridge in the room which was super handy. Not only that, it was only a short walk from places like the Bear Pit, Old Town, multiple viewpoints, and the river, or a short bus/tram journey to the main train station. I absolutely loved every minute of my stay here, and the host was absolutely lovely- even when I managed to have issues with the door at gone 10pm, she was nothing but helpful and kind! I couldn't recommend staying here more, it truly felt like a home away from home. I can't understand how it isn't fully booked constantly! (My second night, I was the only one there!) If you're looking for a place to stay in Bern, honestly look no further!
