Kitesurf Hostal Ocean House-Santa Verónica ligger i Santa Veronica och erbjuder en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass och en restaurang. The owners were the most welcoming people. The room was super clean and the food was delicious. There was a nice rooftop with a nice view. Even if there is no AC the rooms are exposed to the wind and therefore it is cool inside the room. We regretted not staying longer. We 100% recommand.

MonDieu Hostel ligger i Barranquilla, 18 minuters promenad från VIVA Shopping Mall, och har conciergeservice, allergivänliga rum, en trädgård, gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen och en gemensam lounge. Stayed at the hostel over Carnaval and we formed a great crew with the other travellers, to go to the parades and parties together. Good vibes. Felipe, the owner of the hostel, is a great person to talk to and has good recommendations. The hotel is basic but functional with all you need: kitchen, laundry service, lockers, outdoor and indoor area to socialise etc..

La Quinta Bacana La Campiña ligger i Barranquilla, 12 minuters promenad från VIVA Shopping Mall, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. The location felt safe and the house was clean. There was AC and a fan. Got a towel free of charge and got tips on how to get to my next destination. The couple is super nice and definitely recommended the hostal for a good night sleep.

La Casona 42 ligger i Barranquilla i Atlántico, mindre än 1 km från Museum of the Atlantic och 2,4 km från Montoya Station. Här finns en trädgård. First of all - I will give this place a ten although it’s far away from it, but… The place is located in the sketchy neighborhood and we weren’t really feeling safe to leave the place at night. Rooms look like they are advertised and are clean. The absolute highlight of the place is the lady who owns it - she is a soul! She was very helpful, kind and gave us all the information she needed. She also made us feel like home. Since we visited city for the carnival she allowed us to store the baggage there after check out too. Overall, I wouldn’t pay the amount of money for this accommodation under any other circumstances but these including the festival and increase of prices in that area in general. Like I said - you would be feeling more than welcome and safe inside of the property, but not outside of it. Thanks again to the lovely lady, she made our stay there worth of it!

Hostel Concepción ligger i Barranquilla, 5 km från köpcentret Continental. Vandrarhemmet har en bar, en gemensam lounge och en trädgård. Här finns även familjerum och en terrass. The staff and the owners were amazing and helped us out a lot. They always made sure everything was alright. The location was perfect when going to the carnival. A supermarket and ATM is just close by. Other than that we did not visit the city at all.
