The George Inn is a 14th century inn and Plaine is a 16th century building located immediately opposite The George, situated in Norton Saint Philip. Among the various facilities of this property are free WiFi, a bar and on-site dining. The room was a great size and super clean. Loved the whole property and location. We sat out the back at table and chairs before dinner and the view is spectacular of the church and scenery. The people serving us for dinner were wonderful and very friendly (quite young) but made it enjoyable and we asked them questions of where to go in the area. Loved the stay here.

The room was fabulous - Huge bed (large double) that was really comfy, en suite shower was immaculate, and the view from the window onto a country lane from which we regularly saw horses go by. Deadly silent by night, which was great, even with the window open. Will definitely be back!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome by Colleen, the room was great and had everything we could possibly need, the homemade banana bread and breakfast was fabulous. Our grandson loved walking the dogs through the grounds and orchard and the plums and apples we picked were lovely. Just sad it was only one night, our grandson didn’t want to leave at all and talked about it for ages lol Can’t recommend this B & B highly enough thank you Jane Neil and Kieran x
