The whole experience was beyond what we were wishing for. The apartment is very clean and spacious and bright, very good floor plan too. We highly recommend it. Also, neighbours are all very friendly and sweet.

Sai Homes Chidambaram is a recently renovated guest house in Chidambaram, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. At times I was the only guest there and had the house for myself. My room was spacious and quite comfortable. There was hot water and free wifi, a table and a chair to work on my computer. There is a kitchen downstairs where I could cook. Being on the road for quite a while I try to use every opportunity to cook myself. Mr Nathan, the owner of the place, kindly offered to help to arrange the supplies for cooking. The caretaker of the place, Hariharan, bought everything I needed. So I enjoyed my food staying in a house, taking some rest from constant travels. And Mr Nathan also gave valuable tips to visit the main temple of Chidambaram, Natarajar temple. I enjoyed exploring that place. And after my stay there I went to Kumbakonam for Navagraha pilgrimage. There I checked into a nice apartment with the help of Mr Nathan and his wife. It was a very pleasant experience both in Chidambaram and Kumbakonam. Sai Homes is a nice place to stay. One of few decent ones. It took me a while to find it. I recommend it absolutely. Hariharan, the caretaker, is also a very nice and kind person. He supported me a lot.

We loved our stay in this beautiful house! We stayed in the largest room we ever had in our months of travelling. We liked the interior, the furniture, the colours, the big terrace and the big bathroom with very good shower! The fans and AC worked fine. All was clean. Comfortable kingsize bed with nice white sheets. All of the staff was very friendly and helpfull but Sudhakar especially took good care of us. The location is good, near Auroville in a nice little town. Recommended! ❤
