Beautiful place located on top of the hill overlooking a lake. The guesthouse is a historical building and Marianne and her husband were very keen on sharing some insight. Vintage, rustic decor gives the place a nice vibe. Daily breakfast was delicious and we also had 2 dinners, which were homecooked and truly remarkable. Heated floor in the bathroom was also very nice.

The cabin has a wonderful authentic feel to it and it was very welcoming and warm to stay in. Would absolutely recommend. Beautiful and quiet surroundings for a great night's sleep too. Fab base for tackling Besseggen trail. A car is essential.

Due to weather issues we were super late. We arrived at 1:40am and a small cute message with all important information and the key was waiting for us. During the trip we weren't sure even if we would be able to reach the hotel at all but someone from the hotel was always in touch.
