The staff was super helpful and kind. The rooms were beautiful and completely clean and far exceeded any expectations I had had, and it was a delight staying here. Outdoors a beautiful little garden was almost finished, and it was a delight resting in the area there. Despite a little finish still lacking here in early spring, it was already gorgeous. We stayed at Regency Inn for the Eclipse viewing, and had an absolutely wonderful time. If you're looking to stay in the area I would definitely recommend staying here.

The Downtown Abbey, a property with a garden and a tennis court, is located in San Marcos, 1.4 km from Texas State University, 30 km from Comal Park, as well as 32 km from Comal River. The location is amazing. You can walk to downtown San Marcos and to close-by restaurants and bars. We slept very well in the cozy bed and it was nice and quiet.

Bungalow decorated nicely, bed was very comfortable, lots of little welcoming touches. We loved being able to see the longhorns on the property!

Our cabin was the Yellow Rose Cabin and it was so cute, and beautifully decorated. We had a variety of coffee selection flavors and framers and delicious snacks . The bed was a king size and it was so comfortable. At night you could sit outside and enjoy the night. Or you can walk to the winery on the property. It’s just beautiful. We are definately going back!
