This is definitely one of the best houses we have ever rented on vacation. It is a very nicely restored villa with great outdoor spaces and a beautiful pool. The property is in a very nice location with impressive views of the mountains. It is a very beautiful old house that has been restored and modernized with great attention to detail and very high quality. Already the way to the property is very noble and the flower beds around are lovingly designed. You are completely on your own, but still everything is easily accessible. The kitchen is very well and richly equipped, nothing is missing. The large terrace with a nicely designed pool, is covered with very beautiful natural stone. There are places to sunbathe and a sitting area with tables and benches made of natural stone. In addition, there is a large stone outdoor grill with space for preparation including sink. The villa is located a bit outside of Embrosneros, which is however easily accessible on foot (5-10 minutes). In the village there is a minimarket, a bakery and a good taverna with original Cretan dishes. Within about 30 minutes you can walk to a good winery and the newly designated Apokoronas hiking trail passes nearby. The owners were very accommodating and hospitable. They did everything to make the stay perfect.

The willa is really amazing! It has a stunning view, a huge pool, great yard and a lot of places to stay outside. We have been 11 people and we had everything we wanted: from kitchen well equiped to beds, barbecue and rooms. There are 3 bedrooms one which has 2 beds (double and single one), 1 attic with 4 single beds, 2 living rooms with 2 sofas. We really enjoyed everything! Katerina was very nice, responsive and visited us once to bring some cheese. We had a nice stay and we might come back here. It's a great place for a big family trip!

We had two wonderful weeks in Stefanos nice house with pool and garden. We felt very comfortable in Villa Aloni, it is tastfully furnished in greek style, an we loved the pool and the large garden with oleanders and olive, lemon and pomegranate trees. It is all very child friendly. The stay here is highly recommended! Dorit

The villa is wonderful. It offers everything you need. The pool is a great size, plenty of seating options and not over looked. Spacious interior and beautifully decorated.
