Wonderful place with great view around. Fully equipped kitchen, with all necessary things to cook. Owners were kind and responsive. It was possible to get know the farm and take ride with horses. Great place!

Airy, comfortable, quiet home with amazing, seemingly magical vibe. The family lore runs deep here and I appreciated knowing the history of the house and the property. Pastoral view with sheep keeping us company for some of the day. Well appointed kitchen and clothes washer was much appreciated after many dusty days of travel. Owners were gracious hosts and very keen to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Easy access to bojarnes and a great place to use as base camp for exploring the snaefulnes peninsula or just doing a creative retreat.

Charming house with all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay and get a feel of the local way of life. The place has a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dryer and a private hot tub! We were two families with kids and there was more than enough space for us to feel comfortable.

This was an exceptionally beautiful spot to find! I felt like it was a special opportunity to see the nature of a lava field, right next to a crater! We watched the sunset from the hot tub and slept so comfortably. It was great for my teens, who each had their own room after a week of much time together! We loved the photos on the walls. The house seems secluded, but is close to the road (but you can’t hear cars) and convenient to many locations. I would live here! Many thanks for the stay.

Location was fine for us as we were studying birds on S side of Snæfellsness and in Myar. We never got time to use the hot tub! We did wonder why it is constant at 40c, especially as the lid is damaged and insulation probably full of water so cannot insulate much - maybe it is natural hot water?

Accomodation is as beautiful as in pictures. Large living room connected with fully equipped kitchen, with huge windows from which you can watch stunning sunrise, sun set or northern lights, comfy bedrooms, stable heating and no civilization around. Just all you can wish for. Totally recommended!

Beautiful place at a great location, it is very private and intimate. Plenty of room, a lot of kitchen supplies, and the hot tub and barbecue are amazing.
