I had been wanting to stay at Villa Simondium since 2020 when my trip was unfortunately curtailed due to Covid. When we entered the accommodation literally all our jaws dropped!! the property is very well laid out and absolutely stunning; from the height of the ceilings in the sitting room, to the amazing terrace with large table and chairs, swimming pool, outside braii and fireplace, a separate firepit area and the amazing garden.. The kitchen was something else - just brilliantly equipped - I think the owners must be either chefs or have a very big passion for food, there is literally everything you could possibly need to cook and entertain. It feels totally secure and safe as in a gated development that is patrolled at night and its very easy to visit the nearby vineyards and attractions. The garden backs on to the equestrian centre so you can see the beautiful horses from one of the bedrooms and the garden has an abundance of fruit trees: pomegranates, the biggest limes and lemons you have ever seen, which we were told to help ourselves to by Nathan. Although the house is on an estate, once in the house you feel that you have no neighbours as the garden has been so well landscaped and with the position of the house being quite set back it feels like there is no one else around.... The backdrop of the mountains just completes this idyllic oasis. I really can't say enough good things about this property.. Izak was great and was prompt to reply to my questions which I had quite a few and Nathan who looked after us during our stay was amazing. I will definitely return and hopefully stay much longer. We loved the place. From the bedrooms with there own en-suits was perfect. Because we were 5x ladies in the house we felt safe. The neighbours were lovely and the area was so quiet. We enjoyed everything about our stay.

The villa was stunning, much larger than seems on photos, everything you need is there (including a travel cot for babies / toddlers) Location is great, long walk or short taxi to the centre, very safe with a grocery store just up the street Beautifully kept and clean, alarm is easy to use and fully equipped huge kitchen. Outdoor seating is lovely and everything has been decorated wonderfully. The hosts will explain everything that you need (alarm, facilities etc) and are available on Whatsapp too if you need. We had an absolutely wonderful time staying here and were so sad to leave!

The whole place is perfect. Its comfortable, works practically (things like coffee making, plates, seats, sofa's... everything). The quality of the furniture is very high and absolutely lovely from top to toe.
