It was the 3rd time at 3 Queen Street and the 4th time is already booked It will be difficult to find any better place to stay anywhere - this accom. is perfect and the main reason, why we travel so often to Calitzdorp. Other comments shows that we are not wrong. Another plus is the 100m to walk to Boplaas winery and also the Dorphuis Restaurant is in walking distance. When being in Calitzdorp do not miss to visit the museum on the sam road, which is run by the locals and gives soooo many information about the city history.

The kitchen was stocked up with everything you needed. Just bring yourself, swim suit and food.

I can’t say enough good things about this gem of a place. The decor, attention to detail, and general vibe of the Karoo Moon House was incredible. It was a real shame we couldn’t stay longer - it would have been a perfect long weekend. We also really appreciated the little extras that were provided in the house. We would come back to Barrydale just to stay here!

Absolutely clean, so much attention to detail. The dog loved running free in the fenced yard. Comfy bed. It was a very cold night, but lit a fire in the fireplace with wood, so thoughtfully provided. Towels and bed linen are available in the holiday home. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. We travelled with my elderly parents which have difficulty with steps. Leadwood house was perfect for us due to easy access. I could drive up next to entrance of the house, with only three small steps that lead onto a beautiful porch. House was exceptionally clean, layout is spacious and furnishings of superior quality. Safe off street parking (two garages available too) with very convenient location to a variety of good restaurants and shops.
