I would highly recommend this place to everyone. The location is wonderful, the attached kitchen/restaurant is fantastic and extremely cheap, and most of all, the people were incredibly helpful. They reached out to me to organise a private car from the train station to and from the hotel, and personally drove us to the huangshan bus station. One of the owners speaks pretty good English and was very helpful and considerate. Also the place has a very friendly cat, which is always a plus.

Also, he spoke English so communication was no problem. The interior of the apartment is really nice and traditional. In less than 10 minutes slow walking I was able to get to the Ancient town. PS: the ticket to the ancient town is valid for 3 days
