The view from my room was great. Staff is excellent, very helpful and nice!! The location is perfect for exploring downtown and going out into nature. Being able to rent bikes and scooters directly from them was incredibly convenient.

We couldn’t have had a better stay in Yangshuo! Sammie, Eric and Limin were incredibly friendly and helpful - even walking with us to rent scooters and to the restaurant to help us order the best dishes. The room was great and the common area is lovely with outdoor seating and a pool table. Eric also stocks the best italian coffee and Belgian beers. The location in the countryside is beautiful, and much more relaxing than being in town (which is a quick drive away). We wish we could’ve stayed longer, and will definitely be back one day!

A peaceful, relaxing sanctuary after a day doing activities or in the noisy town. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. They patiently discussed many options with us and helped book tickets and activities. The rooms are great for families, we were upgraded upon arrival to a lovely room with a small yard. The children enjoyed the hotel grounds (which included a playground and pool). A very cozy place and the food is delicious, we felt safe letting our kids (8 and 10) explore freely around the property.

We enjoyed the trip a lot, the hotel has a great location to reach the city center in 20 minutes by walking along the river. If you are coming with the river cruise you can even walk to the hotel. The room with river view are very clean and has a nice balcony. But the best of our stay was the service, with fluent English they could help us with every question and request we had! We recommend this hotel :)

We instantly felt at home, the staff is the nicest we have ever come across. Great command over english as well! Especially Kate was so helpful and went out of her way to even show us local food in her favorite place in Yangshuo. - Great location - Rooms are exceptional with a great view and fully equiped with tea and kettle - Restaurant food is also very good (just had chinese and snacks)

The hostel is pretty close to everything in town, it has free (potable) water, and the beds are luxurious. It also has a little area for storing luggage, a hangboard, a set of rings, yoga mats, at least one TheraBand, and a couple of simulated two-bolt stations with two short lengths of rope where you can practise rope skills. My room had large windows, so it would probably stay reasonably cool at night in the summers.

Firstly, the hostel is located a bit away from the main town centre, but I chose it for the quiet location; not to mention the views from the 5/F were amazing and you could hear the ducks quacking away in the morning. The bunk beds are one of the widest and comfortable I've slept in with lots of space. Free laundry usage on the rooftop were helpful. Friendly staffs at the reception and a cozy lounge and backyard area which even has a swimming pool, though I've not swam in it. Overall a very pleasant time there!

I saw the reviews and almost didn't give this place a chance but eventually decided to go anyway, and I'm glad I did. The hostel is nothing like what the bad reviews say. The rooms were tidy, the linens were clean, and the best were comfortable. The rooms had AC and privacy curtains. I'm really not sure what some people expect from a cheap youth hostel because as far as hostels go across Asia, this one was decent.

Best hostel for both climbers and non-climbers alike that want to experience the amazing Yangshuo. Lily was an amazing host and as a pretty inexperienced climber she guided me in all the best routes in area. I’m sure during peak season you would have no problem finding a climbing partner. Hotel facilities were prefect and great value for money. Definitely would recommend if you’re staying in Yangshuo.

Great location in Yangshuo, very close to the Li River, and with great mountain views in the evenings. I stayed for one night and thought the hostel was decent for a sleep and a shower. Location is the main draw. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and made themselves available. Overall, no real problems.
