Just 200 metres from Frankfurt Central Station, this modern hostel is centrally situated in the city’s red light district. The Five Elements Hostel offers free WiFi and provides a great base for exploring Frankfurt.

The free coffee/tea were great. So were the free events and food during the evenings (thanks for having vegan food too)!

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Nice apartments in a safe district. Not far from Messe, a 15 min walk. I really liked the coffee & cookies/apples/cereal bars in the public lounge for breakfast, wasn't expected thus extremely pleasing. Everything was pretty clean. The laundry room in the basement was cheap and convenient.

The price was cheap. The location is close to the central station. It was a dormitory and it wasn't dirty, especially the bathroom was clean and the water ran well. Coffee and tea in the lobby are free.

Great location, very modern and safe code entry system. Well equipped kitchen, very clean and as quiet as one could expect so close to the airport. Nice restaurant in the building, grocery store next door, train connection to airport or downtown less than a 5 min. walk. Perfect stay before a long flight!

Inside, the hotel is excellent and provides an excellent breakfast, but outside, it is very uninviting and is set in one of the most notrious streets in Frankfurt for the criminal drug scene. It is easy to avoid the crowds of males taking over the pavements on one side, but if you walk on the other side, you are safe from harassment. That is why the hotel is so cheap and I would go again. but I can imagine that some visitors would be horrified by the ugly externals.

Great location to the Frankfurt city center. Friendly staff, the room was clean, very comfortable bed. There was a modern, casual atmosphere without feeling like a cheaper/budget hotel.
