- I’ve stayed at a lot of business hotels and capsules (even net cafes) in Japan, and this is undoubtedly the best value accommodation in the whole of Japan (no exaggeration) - it’s a “capsule” but you basically get your own private mini room, with a desk area and space for your luggage, with a full-curtain for privacy … for far less than even an Internet cafe or basic capsule hotel charges. - only 5 units/guests on my floor. Very quiet and private, and other guests were very respectful and quiet also. Thank you. - Bed sheets were clean and bunk was comfortable, clean and new. - Bathroom and toilets were always pristine clean and available for use when I needed. On my floor there was 1 shower and 1 toilet (with another toilet being repaired) per 5 guests, so always available when I needed (never ran into any other guests using during my whole stay). - superb air-conditioning (literally 1 unit every 2 metres in the dorm and hallway) which was welcome in the summer - small kitchenette and microwave in hallway, to heat food be eaten in capsule area (there is folding desk). No one really ate inside capsule area, so no food smells except just once, but fabulous air-conditioning system and ventilation means food smells disappeared quickly. - close-by to train station (Hinodecho St. 5 mins walk) and many bus route stops (2 mins walk), and many convenience stores nearby (4+ 7-11s Family Marts, Lawson 100 within 5mins walk). - with a little walking (and 10+ mins) there are nice restaurants and small shopping area options nearby (theres a quaint cafe restaurant next door). - Adequate security for capsule. There was lockable cabinet (key lock), a combo-lock safe box in capsule, and a lockable chain in capsule space to lock up baggage. If you have lockable hard luggage, your items are reasonably secure, but I still recommend removing expensive items and passports when going out.

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

This is a cheap, basic stay, not too far out of the way. Don't expect much beyond a small practical room, and common bathing/bathroom facilities. And a minifridge. Still, its cheap, and will net you a safe night sleep.
