Mo goes above and beyond for the comfort of the guest and is very welcoming. Heaters in the room are very helpful in the winter and Mo even went out of his way to put an extra little heater when I was in the common area alone and asked if I wanted it closer to me. The way he takes care of the plants in the living room is another super cute detail that adds a home like feeling to the place. The location is perfect as it was walking distance to the center as well as the Skybus to/from airport and very quiet. The common area feels like a home living room and the kitchen is well equipped although it feels a bit small when there are a few people in there simultaneously but it wasn’t always full. It is also well maintained as there was housekeeping on a daily basis.

Montacute Boutique Bunkhouse is located in the heart of Hobart's historic Battery Point, in a beautifully renovated 19th Century mansion. Free WiFi and free parking are included. Close to Salamanca Place, yet tucked away in a quiet street. Home like, with all practical comfort and details, hot shower massage shower head, nice comfortable mattress, pillow, quilt, clean sheets. Individual power and light at bed. Full length mirror. Full well organised kitchen, complimentary tea, coffee, milk. Nice backyard. Laundry room use for a small fee. Quiet time 9pm to 9am.

YHA Hobart Central is located only one block from Hobart's waterfront and the airport shuttle bus stop. This property features a tour desk, a shared kitchen and a reading/study area. Value for money and had a good chance to interact with other persons staying in the hostel!

Featuring a garden, shared lounge, restaurant and free WiFi, Swansea Backpackers is located in Swansea, 700 metres from Nine Mile Beach and 2 km from Schouten House Beach. Great atmosphere dining area was full of chatty people. Capsules were comfy and I had a great sleep. Kitchen well equipped. Bottle shop next door.

Built in 1888, Arthouse Hostel is situated on the banks of the North Esk River, between the beautiful Seaport and Queen Victoria Museum & Art Gallery. I was worried when I saw outside of this accomodation 🤣 but it's just old. It was ok. Receptionist is so kind. They have exactly what I want. Simple backpackers stuff. 👍👍

It was super quiet, access to kitchen, supppppeerr comfortable beds loved the mattress. Peaceful and perfect location in the centre of Hobart. Very affordable and excellent value
