The staff at The Cumberland Riding Fool Hostel is knowledgeable about the surrounding area and maps are available for mountain biking trips. Gorgeous hostel, very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Had everything we needed. Cute little guest garden where we sat and listened to a concert being hosted next door. Great community. Made me want to move in! I was really sad I only booked one night. Lots of interesting things to do around the place, amazing local trails, restaurants and a local museum. Highly recommend a visit to Cumberland and this hostel, it was one of my trip highlights.

The units at the hostel come with a seating area. At Char's Landing Hostel all rooms are equipped with bed linen and towels. Great location in an old church building. Char is a great host. Booking and check in organisation, perfect and easy. Kitchen for use available. Char is so friendly and welcoming. I returned for a second stay and didn't regret. I got the chance to meet some authors and we talked until late in the night. Thank's for this great experience.
