Although we are not base jumpers, we had the pleasure of meeting some over an evening beer in the great garden and getting an insight into this very exciting sport. The location of the hostel is top, the room has everything you need with an incredible view and what we would like to highlight, what made the stay special, were the acquaintances we will not forget. Really great people, exciting conversations and just good vipes. We will definitely be back and can only recommend the Alpine Base Hostel. It also features panoramic views of the local mountains. Very well located. Beautiful view of the mountains and hills. Can walk to Grindelwald First and the hike and/or gondola to get up to Pfingstegg. Owners are friendly. They make delicious breakfast and help with suggestions. I would stay again

Only 1.5 km from the ski lifts, this youth hostel is located in Grindelwald. The sun terrace and the lovely breakfast room have beautiful views of the Bernese Alps. Packed lunches are available.

All rooms at Youth Hostel Grindelwald have wooden furniture and offer nice mountain views. The breakfast was really good and had lots of options. The room was very spacey and nice.
