The Hostel Lollis Homestay Dresden provides unique rooms, a fully equipped communal kitchen and free tea and coffee. If needed, linen can be rented at the hostel. As soon as my friend and I arrived we were greeted by a very friendly staff and allowed to store our things in a locked compartment before the official check-in time. The 6-person female-only room we stayed in was wonderfully decorated with magazine covers, white drapes, and even had stuffed animals on the beds. We were given sheets to make our beds with and a large towel for showering (included in the price of the stay). The mattress was thin but still very comfortable and there were curtains for privacy. I was happily surprised that I could rent a lock for a 5 euro deposit instead of having to buy one! The lockers were very conveniently located too - right in the bedroom! My favorite part of the hostel was definitely the living area downstairs where guests gathered to eat meals and chat. I used the upper loft area to talk on the phone with my family and friends.

This friendly and comfortable hostel is in the middle of the pub district of Dresden-Neustadt, not far from the historical city centre. Free WiFi is available in public areas.

This area is also the cultural centre of Dresden, and the hostel is situated right above the popular pub, Planwirtschaft. The location was amazing, right in the heart of Neustadt Hippi Corner, surrounded by bustling restaurants, cafes, and bars. The double bedroom with a shared bathroom was super clean and quiet. The car park, at 8 euros a day, was reasonable compared to street parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended to family stays as well!
