A proximidade da praia. O conforto e limpeza do quarto.

O pequeno almoço precisa de ser mais variado. Para um cinco estrelas, é pobre. Outra coisa desagradável, são os restaurantes e bares mesmo por baixo dos quartos. Torna-se muito barulhento à noite, até bastante tarde. A nós não nos incomodou, pois ligavamos a televisão, mas quem gostar de silêncio, não consegue adormecer.

The staff are all friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel is close to good restaurants and cafes, also it is just a short walk to the beach. We appreciated the free wifi service.

The bathroom is lovely and very large, however the sliding glass door between the bathroom and toilet provides very little privacy.

Room had a great cosy feel.

Checking in was not great but did get sorted.

Brilliant location, will be even better when the regeneration work in the old quarter is completed. Reception staff and tapas bar staff were very friendly and efficient.I found the food and drink prices in the hotel were good in comparison to the bars and retaurants in the area. Tapas bar was very good. Enjoyed our stay.

Only slight criticism was the shower which alternated between hot and cold at random without touching the controls, Kept you on your toes!

It is a lovely hotel. It is very clean and nicely designed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is very near the beach and the marina where there is a lot of nice places to eat.

The pool was very small.

Hotel staff helpfull and freindly from the time we arrived until the time we left, we found it an ideal location to access both Alacante City centre, marina and the many bars on the plaza.

For a 5 star hotel the standard was below par.

Generally it was okay but 4 star would be the rating,

The hotel is perfectly placed for the beach, marina and town. The facilities were gorgeous, the rooms were individual, spacious and quirky. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff and to top it all it was very good value for money. We'll be going back!

Being English, in room tea and coffee facilities would be nice. However room service provision of these was good.

The Hospes Amerigo has a sort of old fashioned elegance packaged in a modern environment. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was large and comfortable. The air conditioning was so quiet we thought it wasn't working.

The breakfast at 17 euros is rather expensive. You can buy one at nearby cafes on the way to the beach for 3 or 4 euros.

Very nice stay, wonderful breakfast. Best hotel in Alicante - will definitely return.

Would recommend change of white carpets which looked dirty and dated.

Pool and Sun bed facilities were excellent, staff were polite and helpful.

The accomodation

I felt the reception satff should perhaps have been more aware of the clients and room numbers. We had a problem which was dealt with very efficiently but went out leaving the problem to be dealt with. There was a change over of reception staff but we had to ask if the problem had been dealt with after our key was returned to us. It had been dealt with very satisfactorily.Reception staff did not give us much information on arrival. I only discovered sun loungers were reserved on the beach after I had checked out!

Yes, where do I start.The staff are rude and ineffectual, they are either useless, can't be bothered or deliberatly unhelpful.The hotel does not deserve a 5* rating, it is no where near the beach, you have at least a 15 minute walk to get to a descent bit of sand (where is the picture taken that you show on your site? very misleading).The pool area is dirty, cramped and there are tiles missing from the pool, the dirty grout obviously couldn't do it's job any longer. All in all, rude, unhelpful staff who have a really bad atitiude and very, very misleading pictures.
