Sinceramente, não gostei de absolutamente nada. A não ser pela prestreza e solidariedade de pouquissimos funcionarios (mais subalternos), os demais são excessivamente grosseiros e arrogantes.

Sugiro que o hotel refaça sua politica interna e principalmente a de trato ao cliente. Já estive algumas vezes antes hospedado no Balmes para não voltar mais. E essa propaganda negativa ja estou estendendo a muitos amigos que, como eu, viajam varias vezes ao ano e procuram por hoteis ditos "funcionais", com boa localização e custo benefício otimizado como poderiaq perfeitamente se tratar do...

The only positive thing was the location of the hotel, near the center.

It just was totally different from what i saw in the net. The room was very bad, and the view from the window was a wall. I didn´t mind pay a little more and have better view. It was too hot in the room, and this problem wasn´t solved. They were not very nice.

The room is quite nice, but it small. The bath room is spacious with the bath. Hotel is in a chain (Derby hotels) then it has a standard, I guess. We book with weekend for 75euro, week days 55euro, with that price this hotel is quite acceptable.

Hotel staff is not friendly, location is good, but a little bit far from metro (4 blocks). Breakfast is expensive, then we eat at a cafe on the right of the hotel, at the next block. Note that all the room is twin room, if you want a double bed, they will combine the beds.

The confort, the facilities offered, like free internet, the sympathy of staff and also the convenient location

I did not like the airconditioning. It was too noisy and when switched off the room was like a fridge.

Breakfast ok, good location

Despite paying a high price for a double room I got a dark room on the first floor opening on a dark vent hole. Absolutely no daylight. Internet service not compatible with Dell laptop. A tech expert came around, but unable to connect and he confirmed they have this problem with some computers. Canceled my stay.

everything else: unpolite staff, charging for dogs-we wrote that we are smokers and would like lower floor.We got 5th floor and instead of double room, twin room.Windows to the street are from the bottom to the top giving impression of a prison cell and high anxiety.Very unsafe stairs down,breakfast in the basement!!! But it's an art deco hotel?!

Location was excellent and front desk staff were very helpful.

Pool only gets about an hour or two of direct sunlight per day so pool is quite cold even in Summer. Breakfast buffet better if still served until 11am. Would have been better if hotel had one or 2 rooms that could sleep 3 people. Daily toiletries supplied are on the meagre side...kept running out.
