Europäischer Hof am Dom

E' adatto per chi vuole passare il proprio tempo a visitare la città. Vicino alla stazione e al Duomo, ma al tempo stesso in una posizione molto tranquilla.

The Hotel we got transfured to was Nice as the Hotel told us the room had water damige so we stayed in "Central Hotel" the revuiw is so based on that hotel.

Not bad hotel, the best thing - location, it is close to railway station, shopping and centre (is is exactly in the centre). Beds and towels are very clean :) This is good hotel if you are going only to sleep here or to stay 1-2 days, and needs central location.

Room is ok but everything is old, carpet was ugly and in spots.

Conveniently located on Appelhofplatz which is only only 1 U-bahn station from the main train station.

Noisy street. The door to our room looked like at some point someone had attempted to pry it open. The doorknob was also loose. Carpets looksed like they needed to be replaced.

my first trip to germany for me & my spouse. I checked out all the reviews of this hotel and others in Koln before booking this hotel. The reviews are accurate. This hotel is within a mild walk from the train station; about 10 minutes from the dom. We had large bags so it can be done without too much effort. Get a map from the tourist center in front of the dom.

Extremely convenient location close to amenities and the subway station. Room was big with clean bed linen and plenty of comfortable seating. Carpet was stained, but not dirty, and the rest of the room was very clean. Had our own key for the main door so could come and go as we pleased.

Would have appreciated tea and coffee making facilities, and since there were no meal provisions a small fridge to store milk and spread for breakfast would have been helpful. On the other hand, we were aware that there was no provision for meals at the hotel before booking, and so this is not really a criticism as such.

Very nice small hotel with a great lift and charming staff.

Since I stayed at this hotel off season, the price was good.

I guess, I would have complained about the cleanliness of the floor and the small hole on the bed sheet if I had paid the rate that is charged on peak season, which I understand is four times the price I paid.

Not taking into consideration the condition of the hotel itself, the location is very good, the personnel nice and there was no problem leaving the luggage there after checkout so we could continue visiting the city until our train left.

They definitely have to change the rugs and curtains!
