The room was immaculate- The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was splendid. I will definately recommend this hotel and will likely return whenever I visit Germany in the future. It was a little difficult to find at night, I would recommend a light over the sign outside. |

The breakfast was the best of all 4 hotels we visited. The staff provided excellent overall service. Each were extremely helpful with directions, laundry facilities, casual conversation - we liked it so much we changed plans and stayed an extra day. It is in the farming country but not noisy. You need a car or taxi to get to town (I didn't see a bus stop). We will return when we can. |

Clean room and relaxed environment Location too far outside centre of Heidelberg (nearly 6 miles). Found our way back at night using satnav.. It would have been very difficult without it as hotel not signposted from main road. |

It was like being at home. Lovely place, friendly owners (mr. Mampel is so caring with his guests and he also speaks a very good English), great breakfast. It's also easy to find and close to the motorway. |

Our reception was very warm, the rooms were beautiful, the breakfast was superlative, and we really enjoyed our trips to Schwetzingen and Heidelberg.Recommended highly! |

Easy to find, owners very helpful and nice, large room, great breakfasts. It was a little out of Heidelberg but thought that was better than the noise and crowds in the city. Owner gave us maps, suggestions and made a call for us when needed. Definitely the best place we stayed in Germany! |

The cleanliness of the hotel,friendly and hospitable hosts. Still an easy 10 minute drive into Heidelberg, this was no problem as we had a car. |

It is a family run hotel and we felt at home there. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to Heidelberg but not in the city. Also the couple who own and run the hotel are very friendly. |

The hosts were outstanding. The breakfast was delicious. They will even fix you bacon and eggs anyway you like them. It was extremely clean, and the surrounding countryside was beautifully maintained. I would have like a softer bed, but that is a minor issue. |

The hotel is very easy to find and very convenient to the highway. It's just an hour south of Frankfurt. The room was very large and clean and also very quiet at night. Great German breakfast. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. |
